Saharan Spiced Beef Kebabs

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
