  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 can (14 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  4. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll it up, tucking in the sides as you roll.
  5. Place the cabbage rolls in a large pot or Dutch oven. Pour the tomato sauce and beef broth over the rolls.
  6. Cover the pot and cook on the stovetop over medium heat for 1 hour, or until the cabbage rolls are tender and the filling is cooked through.
  7. Serve the Sakha Khara hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
