Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 metal or soaked wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the skewers.
  4. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
