Ingredients

  • 500g mutton, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup crispy potato sticks (sali)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Next, add the mutton pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  4. Stir in the tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Whisk the yogurt and garam masala together, then add it to the mutton. Cook until the mutton is tender.
  6. Once the mutton is cooked, garnish with crispy potato sticks (sali) and serve hot.
