Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup potato sticks (sali)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the finely chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until the chicken is browned.
- Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
- Add water as needed and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
- Top the chicken with crispy potato sticks (sali) before serving.
