Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of crusty bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the loaf of bread into thick slices, without cutting all the way through the bottom crust.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture between the slices of the bread, ensuring it reaches all the way to the bottom.
  5. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then open the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp up the top.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
