Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, sliced into wedges
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the beef slices with soy sauce for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the same skillet. Add the onion, tomatoes, bell pepper, and garlic. Stir-fry for 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet. Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Serve the saltado de carne over cooked white rice.
