Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the pork slices and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same skillet. Add the bell peppers, onion, and green onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Return the cooked pork to the skillet and toss to combine with the vegetables.
  5. Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
