Salteado De Frango E Castanha De Caju (chicken And Cashew Nut Stir-fry)

Ingredients
- 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup cashew nuts
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the chicken strips and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the same skillet, then add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cashew nuts and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
