Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup Thai basil leaves
- 2-3 Thai chilies, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the cubed tofu and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and sauté the garlic, onion, and bell pepper until they start to soften.
- Add the cooked tofu back to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, Thai chilies, and Thai basil leaves. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
