Ingredients

  • 4 whole fish (such as sea bass or trout), cleaned and scaled
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Make 3 diagonal cuts on each side of the fish and rub the marinade all over the fish, including inside the cavity.
  4. Place a slice of lemon inside each fish cavity.
  5. Grill the fish for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and easily flakes with a fork.
  6. Remove the fish from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
