Ingredients

  • 1 lb firm white fish, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, cayenne pepper, chopped cilantro, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the fish chunks to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the spice mixture. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated fish chunks onto skewers.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  5. Grill the fish kebabs for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and has grill marks.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and serve hot.
