Ingredients

  • 4 whole fish, such as sea bream or snapper, cleaned and scaled
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, pepper, and olive oil to create a spice rub.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the fish, inside and out.
  4. Place the fish on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a nice char.
  5. In another bowl, mix together parsley, cilantro, lemon juice, garlic, and yogurt to create the sauce.
  6. Serve the grilled fish with the lemon and herb sauce on the side.
