Ingredients
- 10 red chili peppers
- 5 shallots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tomato
- 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
- 1 tablespoon palm sugar
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Grind the chili peppers, shallots, garlic, and tomato in a food processor or mortar and pestle until smooth.
- Heat a small amount of oil in a pan and add the ground mixture.
- Add shrimp paste, palm sugar, tamarind paste, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and let it cool before serving.
