Ingredients
- 1 block of tempeh, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons sambal oelek
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the tempeh cubes and cook until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Stir in the sambal oelek, soy sauce, brown sugar, and tamarind paste, and mix well.

- Season with salt to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
