Ingredients
- 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 150g petai (stink beans), halved
- 5 shallots, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 red chilies, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 3 tablespoons shrimp paste
- 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat cooking oil in a wok over medium heat.
- Add shallots, garlic, and red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add shrimp and petai. Stir-fry until the shrimp turns pink.
- Add tomatoes, tamarind paste, sugar, and salt. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
