Sambal Tempeh Explosion

Ingredients
- 1 block of tempeh, cut into cubes
- 4 tablespoons sambal oelek
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 1 green chili, sliced
- 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the tempeh cubes and fry until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix the sambal oelek, soy sauce, coconut sugar, tamarind paste, and water.
- Pour the sambal mixture into the pan with the tempeh and stir well to coat the tempeh.
- Add the sliced red and green chilies and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
