Ingredients
- 5 red chili peppers
- 3 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Using a mortar and pestle, grind the red chili peppers, shallots, and garlic into a smooth paste.
- Add the shrimp paste and continue to grind until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the lime juice and salt.
- Adjust the seasoning to taste.
