Sambal Tumis (Spicy Stir-Fry)

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sambal tumis paste
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Add garlic and onion, stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken and sambal tumis paste, stir-fry until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Add bell peppers, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar, continue to stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
