Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) pork belly, thinly sliced
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic cloves, minced
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Green peppers
  • Ssamjang (fermented bean paste)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork belly slices with sea salt and black pepper.
  2. Preheat a stovetop grill or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the seasoned pork belly slices on the grill or pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove the pork belly from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Serve the cooked pork belly with fresh lettuce leaves, minced garlic, green peppers, and ssamjang. Wrap the pork belly and desired condiments in the lettuce leaves and enjoy!
