Ingredients

  • 1 head of lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/2 cup ssamjang (Korean spicy dipping sauce)
  • 1/4 cup garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup perilla leaves (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a stovetop grill or non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the pork belly slices with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the pork belly for 2-3 minutes on each side until fully cooked and slightly crispy.
  4. Arrange the lettuce leaves, perilla leaves, and cooked pork belly on a large platter.
  5. Place the ssamjang, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and sesame oil in small serving bowls.
  6. To eat, take a lettuce leaf, add a piece of pork belly, a small dollop of ssamjang, some garlic, green onions, and perilla leaves, then wrap it up and enjoy!
