Samoan Style Bbq Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper, then place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and ginger to make the barbecue sauce.
  4. Brush the ribs with the barbecue sauce, then cover the baking sheet with foil.
  5. Bake the ribs for 1.5 hours, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more barbecue sauce every 10 minutes.
  6. Once the ribs are tender and caramelized, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
