- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 12 sheets of phyllo pastry
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
