Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 8 ounces smoked salmon
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh dill

Instructions

  1. Prepare the creamy filling by mixing mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Spread the creamy filling on each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the smoked salmon, cucumber, red onion, and sliced eggs on top of the creamy filling on 5 slices of bread.
  4. Stack the slices on top of each other to form a "cake."
  5. Use the remaining creamy filling to cover the entire "cake" like frosting.

  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
