Ingredients

  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 1 1/2 cups of cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of raisins
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, raisins, and chopped walnuts.
  3. Unroll the phyllo dough and cut it into 3-inch strips.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the end of each strip and fold into a triangle shape.
  5. Place the pastries on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let the sarailie cool before serving.
