Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh sardines, cleaned and deboned
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pre-made flatbread crust
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss the sardines, bell pepper, onion, and tomatoes with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the flatbread crust on a baking sheet and arrange the sardine and vegetable mixture on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is crispy and the sardines are cooked through.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
