Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
Instructions
- Boil the whole head of cabbage in a large pot of water for 5-7 minutes, then carefully remove the leaves and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, uncooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, diced tomatoes, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf, then roll them up, tucking in the sides to create neat rolls.
- Place the cabbage rolls in a large pot, seam side down, and pour the beef broth over them.
- Cover and simmer on low heat for 2 hours, until the cabbage is tender and the filling is cooked through.
