Satay Skewer Sensation

Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken or beef, thinly sliced
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced meat and marinate for at least 1 hour.
- In a saucepan, combine peanut butter and water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
- Thread marinated meat onto soaked skewers.
- Heat a grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until meat is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve the satay skewers with the prepared peanut sauce.
