Satay (tatar Style Chicken Satay)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8-10 wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken strips and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Thread the marinated chicken strips onto the soaked skewers.
  4. Grill the chicken skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
