Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken thighs, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground coriander, ground cumin, turmeric, soy sauce, brown sugar, and vegetable oil to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the chicken skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve the Sate Ayam with peanut sauce and steamed rice.
