Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, cumin, turmeric, and coriander. Add the beef slices and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Thread the marinated beef onto the soaked skewers.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the beef skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. While the beef is grilling, prepare the peanut sauce by combining peanut butter, coconut milk, lime juice, and seasoning with salt and pepper in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth and heated through.
  5. Serve the grilled beef skewers with the peanut sauce on the side.
