Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef, onion, garlic, coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Thread the marinated beef onto the soaked skewers.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
  5. Grill the beef skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Serve the grilled beef skewers with the warm peanut sauce.
