Ingredients
- 500g beef, cut into cubes
- 20 bamboo skewers, soaked in water
- 200g peanuts, roasted and ground

- 2 red chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp tamarind paste
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp palm sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Thread the beef onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill the beef skewers on a stovetop grill or in a grill pan until cooked to your liking.
- In a pan, sauté the shallots, garlic, and red chilies until fragrant.
- Add the ground peanuts, tamarind paste, sweet soy sauce, palm sugar, and coconut milk. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Season the peanut sauce with salt to taste.
- Serve the beef satay with the spicy peanut sauce.
