Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups walnuts
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground fenugreek
- 1/2 tsp ground marigold
- 1/2 tsp ground blue fenugreek
- 1/2 tsp ground hot pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- In a large pot, place the chicken pieces and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the walnut sauce. In a food processor, blend the walnuts, onion, garlic, and spices until smooth.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pot and set aside. Reserve the cooking liquid.
- In a separate large pot, combine the walnut sauce, white wine vinegar, and 2 cups of the reserved cooking liquid. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked chicken pieces to the sauce and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the flavors meld for a few minutes before serving.
