Sausage Tortellini

Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and cooked sausage to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet with the sausage and tomato mixture.
- Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve the sausage tortellini garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
