Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped mixed herbs (parsley, dill, cilantro)
  • 1 cup grated cheese (feta or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the chopped herbs and grated cheese to the flour mixture, and stir to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, olive oil, and beaten egg.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  6. Transfer the dough to the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
