Savory Tuile
Savory tuile is a delicate and crispy French wafer that can be served as an elegant appetizer or used as a garnish for soups and salads.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, flour, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is well combined.
- Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each mound.
- Using the back of a spoon, spread each mound into a thin circle.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the tuiles are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before carefully transferring the tuiles to a wire rack to cool completely and become crispy.
