Sayadiya Bil Harir is a delicious Qatari dish that combines spicy shrimp with noodles in a flavorful stir-fry. This dish is perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces rice noodles
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the garlic, bell peppers, and onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the shrimp to the pan and add the cooked noodles.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until everything is heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
