Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, cubed
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, snap peas, bell peppers)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons taoco (fermented soybean paste)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the cubed tofu and stir-fry until lightly golden brown.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and continue stir-frying for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the taoco, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot with steamed rice.
