Scharfe Kapana Wraps (spicy Kapana Wraps)

Ingredients

  • 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, onion, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, hot sauce, and chopped cilantro to make the spicy sauce.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.
  5. Assemble the wraps by placing a portion of the cooked beef, sliced tomatoes, and bell pepper on each tortilla. Drizzle with the spicy sauce.
  6. Roll up the tortillas, tucking in the sides to secure the filling.
  7. Serve the Scharfe Kapana Wraps immediately, with extra spicy sauce on the side if desired.
