Schezwan Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp Schezwan sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2-3 green chilies, chopped
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with Schezwan sauce and set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic, ginger, and green chilies until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and cook until they are slightly tender.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and stir-fry on high heat for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Next, add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, remove from heat.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
