Schupfnudel Skillet Sensation

Ingredients

  • 500g Schupfnudeln (potato noodles)
  • 200g bacon, diced
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
  2. Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook in the bacon fat until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Remove the onions from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the Schupfnudeln and cook until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Return the bacon and onions to the skillet with the Schupfnudeln. Season with salt and pepper, and toss everything together until well combined.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
