Ingredients
- 250g cottage cheese (paneer), crumbled
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil separates.
- Add crumbled cottage cheese (paneer) and garam masala. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or paratha.
