Scrumptious Hyderabadi Lukhmi With Mint Chutney

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1 cup minced lamb
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and ghee to make a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In a pan, cook the minced lamb, onion, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt until the meat is cooked and the mixture is dry.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin oval shape.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cooked lamb mixture on one half of the oval dough and fold the other half over to form a rectangle. Press the edges to seal.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the lukhmis until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney.
