Seekh Kebab (spiced Lamb Skewers)
Seekh Kebab is a popular Indian dish made with spiced minced lamb, shaped onto skewers, and grilled to perfection. It's a flavorful and aromatic dish that is perfect for gatherings and special occasions.
Ingredients
- 500g minced lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the minced lamb, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, fresh coriander, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion onto skewers to form kebabs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the kebabs on the pan and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kebabs are cooked through and golden brown.
- Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on a serving platter.
