Seekh Kebab (spiced Lamb Skewers)

Ingredients

  • 500g minced lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the minced lamb, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, fresh coriander, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion onto skewers to form kebabs.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the kebabs on the pan and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kebabs are cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on a serving platter.
