Ingredients
- 1 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
Instructions
- In a pan, heat ghee and roast the semolina until it turns golden and aromatic.
- In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add saffron strands.
- Slowly add the roasted semolina to the boiling water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add sugar and cardamom powder, and continue to cook until the mixture thickens.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and mix well.
- Remove from heat and let it set for a few minutes before serving.
