Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the yeast mixture and the milk mixture into the bowl with the flour and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Cover the dough balls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  10. Bake the bread for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
