Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1/2 cup candied orange peel, diced
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to create a simple syrup. Let it cool.
- In a large bowl, mix the almonds, pistachios, candied orange peel, and dark chocolate.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, orange juice, and lemon juice. Pour this mixture over the nut and chocolate mixture, then add the cooled simple syrup. Stir well to combine.
- Divide the mixture into serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
