Ingredients
- 2 cups glutinous rice flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sweet red bean paste
- 1/4 cup white sesame seeds
- Oil for deep-frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour and water until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small ball.
- Make an indentation in each ball and place a small amount of sweet red bean paste in the center. Seal the dough around the filling and roll into a smooth ball.
- Roll the filled balls in white sesame seeds, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- In a deep pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the sesame balls in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
