Ingredients

  • 2 cups glutinous rice flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sweet red bean paste
  • 1/4 cup white sesame seeds
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour and water until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small ball.
  3. Make an indentation in each ball and place a small amount of sweet red bean paste in the center. Seal the dough around the filling and roll into a smooth ball.
  4. Roll the filled balls in white sesame seeds, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. In a deep pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the sesame balls in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve the sesame balls with sweet bean paste warm and enjoy!
