Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Toss to coat the beef evenly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Bring the sauce to a simmer.
- Return the beef to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
